BONDED

What every number means, where it comes from, and how to read it yourself.

Terms

Bond
A pump.fun coin that filled its curve and migrated to a pool. Pulse counts the moment it bonded, and only coins with 2+ SOL of global fees paid: under that it is almost always a rug, so it is hidden.
Meta
Many different coins riding one broad theme (a franchise, a genre, an animal, a running joke). There is room for a fresh spin.
Tweet play
Coins launched off one news story, tweet or clip. They run fast and die fast.
Runner
A coin trending on pump.fun right now, any age. Pulse sorts runners into the same themes as fresh bonds.
Leader
The biggest runner in a theme. Usually an older coin the theme grew out of (GTA 6 → $Dacity).
Project
A kind of product coin that keeps bonding: launchpads, AI agents, trading bots, games.
Launch idea
A coin to launch now, with what to build, why now, and a launch tweet. Ideas stay up for 24 hours.
Hot
2 or more bonds in the meta in the last hour.
Live
At least one bond in the last 3 hours.
Cooling
No bond for 3 hours. A meta is done after about 3 quiet hours.
1h / 3h / 6h
Bonds in the meta in that window.
Top mcap
The highest market cap any coin in the meta reached, as read from pump.fun.
Last bond
How long ago the newest coin in the meta bonded.

How metas are grouped

  1. Each coin's name and ticker are split into words. Filler like "coin", "token", "the" and "official" is dropped.
  2. Plurals fold together (cats → cat), and longer words fold into a shorter one they start with (gooner → goon).
  3. Any word shared by 2 or more coins bonded in the last 24 hours becomes a meta. Each coin sits in one meta at most, the hottest.
  4. While the Pulse engine is running, its themes replace the word groups: AI reads every coin, names the shared idea ("GTA 6", not "grand") and says if it is a meta or a tweet play. A theme needs 3+ bonds, and the same coin cloned is never a meta. The word groups come back if the engine goes quiet for 15 minutes.

API

Everything on Pulse is one public JSON read. No key. Poll it every 15 seconds at most.
